In business since 1969, Interport is headquartered in Newark, NJ on 50 acres adjacent to the Port of NY and NJ. Established in 2004, our secure parking facility serves 250+ local, regional, and national intermodal drayage customers. We provide secure parking for loaded and empty import and export containers being transported for global cargo owners, ocean carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
Interport Secure Parking of Georgia began its phased opening in 2023, and is now open for business and ready to serve customers in the Savannah Port community. Just five miles from the Georgia Ports Authority’s Garden City Terminal, we’re located on Dean Forest Road between State Highway 80 and Interstate 16. We have 1,200+ secure parking spots on 40 acres spanning two yards situated across the street from one another. Boasting facilities that are newly-constructed, purpose-built, fenced, paved, and lit, Interport offers competitive rates, contract pricing, and available office space.
Offerings Include:
Secure parking, tractor parking and fleet fueling, reefer plugs and monitoring, facility access control
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
$22 per 24-hour period or part thereof, inclusive of all applicable taxes
Same rate for all container sizes, empty or loaded (trailers subject to additional charges)
Proprietary, sophisticated, online inventory and reporting system
On-site staffing, driver assistance available 24/7
CTPAT compliant
Office space available (Savannah only)
Truck and trailer repair services (Savannah only) including Class 8 truck repairs, preventative maintenance services, DOT inspections, brakes, tires, chassis and trailer repairs, computer diagnostics and more

Located ½ mile north of Port Newark, accessible from Delancy Street or Corbin Street. Our NJ location also sells and modifies new and used shipping containers.

Georgia
Just five miles from GPA’s Garden City Terminal on Dean Forest Road, our Savannah location is easily accessible via I-95, I-16, US-80 or GA-307. Our yards are located at 1545 and 1608 Dean Forest Road, and our offices are right next door at 1543 Dean Forest Road. Interport also offers truck and trailer repairs, conveniently located around the corner at 125C Pine Meadow Drive. Please use the below driving directions for truck access to the main yard.
